Lancement d’un ancien collectif de chansons 2021. Remasterisé.

En 1984, Ruggiero et Steven Angelini forment le groupe Secret People. Ils se sont rencontrés à l’école de jazz de Montréal. Ensemble, ils ont réalisé qu’écrire des chansons ensemble était naturel et était un excellent moyen d’exprimer leur poésie et leur musicalité. Leur art devient leur thérapie. Tous deux n’étaient que des enfants, ils ont rapidement développé une fraternité, chacun s’est avéré être le frère qu’ils n’avaient jamais eu. Leur musique est devenue une toile pour laisser une empreinte sur la scène musicale des années 80.

Malheureusement, Secret People n’a jamais obtenu de contrat d’enregistrement et les chansons ont été mises de côté et oubliées pendant des décennies. Steven Angelini est décédé en 2015, et Ruggiero a décidé de ressusciter et de sortir les chansons en hommage à lui.
Ces chansons ont été récupérées et masterisées par Jean-Pierre Isaac afin qu’elles puissent être diffusées dans le monde telles qu’elles ont été écrites.

Launching of an old set of songs 2021. Remastered.

In 1984, Ruggiero & Steven Angelini formed the band Secret People. They met at Jazz school in Montreal. Together they realized that writing songs together felt natural and was a great way to express their poetry and their musicality. Their art become their therapy. Both were only child’s, they quickly developed a brotherhood, each turned out to be the brother they never had. Their music became a canvas to leave a footprint on the music scene of the 80s.

Sadly, Secret People never got a record deal and the songs were shelved and forgotten for decades. Steven Angelini passed away in 2015, and Ruggiero decided to resurrect and release the songs as a tribute to him.

These songs have been recovered and mastered by Jean-Pierre Isaac so they can be released to the world as they were written.
